, formerly Team Mary Sea is a professional fishing team based out of Mystic CT. Our boats are Dealer & Factory Sponsored, a Fountain 34’ Center Console with triple 300’s and a 31’ Fountain Sportfish Cruiser with twin 250’s.

Our 10 Team Members have over 250 years of combined experience fishing for Striped Bass, Tuna & Shark. During the 2007 season we took 1st place in 2 out of the 4 Tournaments we fished. We are a proud member of the Team Fountain Tournament Fishing Team

We are looking forward to an incredible 2008 season starting with the Mid Atlantic Rockfish Shootout in January and fishing more tournaments than we ever have. For 2008 we plan on fishing as many as 16 Tournaments including all 8 ASA Tournaments in the ASA / Mercury Tournament Trail, the Martha's Vineyard Oaks Bluff Monster Shark Tournament, the Star Island Tournament and more!

Captain Don McNally has been fishing the waters off the east coast for over 35 years. His passion for the sport has taken the once strictly family oriented recreation to a new level. His winning style earned him invitations to fish on numerous boats throughout the northeast. In addition to the 2 first place wins on the Mary Sea this past year Captain Don was on one other 1st place and one 2nd place boat during the season. His goal is to be the top national angler for 2008.

Team Boat Show Direct originally Team Mary Sea began from a shared family love of fishing and boating. The family has participated in all types of water sports for many years, but one of their dreams came true with the purchase of a 31’ Fountain Sport fish Cruiser with twin Mercury 250 outboards in 2005. Another dream came true in 2007 when we earned sponsorship from Boat Show Direct.Net, a Fountain dealer located in Stratford CT. The team is now fishing a 34’ Center Console Fountain with Triple 300’s in addition to the 31’ Sport fish cruiser.

The team consists of family members, their spouses and their friends who share a passion for competitive fishing. Home port is Mystic, Connecticut with both the Long Island Sound and Block Island Sound boasting some of the most fertile fishing grounds in the world, just minutes away.

Our Team Members have one goal, to win every tournament we enter. Our expertise in the technical aspects of fishing such as carefully working with tides, temperatures and phases of the moon have quickly lead us to victory. Ask any team member and we will all agree the most important thing in tournament fishing is getting to the good spots first, our 34 or our 31 Fountains ensure that we will, and of course getting back for weigh in is equally important, that’s why we fish Fountains!

For us fishing is not just a hobby, but a way of life.
